Built by practicing Civil / Structural / BIM engineers, the team behind Estima spent years running quantity takeoffs by hand, cross-checking material rates from scattered sources, and watching good projects lose money to bad early estimates.

Estima grew out of that experience — not as a side project, but as the tool we wished existed years earlier. Every estimator, every material rate feed, and every technical guide on this platform is shaped by real engineering practice: quantity surveying discipline, structural detailing knowledge, and BIM-driven accuracy, distilled into something anyone can use for free.

Every figure Estima produces is a rough, engineering-informed estimate — built from typical quantity ratios and current market rates, not from your actual architectural or structural drawings. Real construction costs depend on site conditions, design specifics, local labor rates, and material choices that only a finalized drawing set and a detailed BOQ can capture.
